pink & red

The colour combination usually associated with construction paper Valentine’s Day cards is my favourite when it comes to wall art. My mom got me the ‘Keep Calm and Carry On‘ poster in red (I appreciate it much more after taking a propaganda class last year). I framed it in a gold frame from Value Village and used the inside of those file folders I showed you earlier to mount it.

I like how there is a subtle transition from the red to the pink. It also makes it more difficult to see where the poster ends within the frame.

This tiny canvas is in my kitchen. I got in on clearance from World’s Biggest Bookstore for $9.99. The message is cute, and it fits perfectly in the space.

Red and pink do match, and they can work every day of the year (not just February 14).
